Activity description:
A two-day activity departing on day 1 at 3:00 PM from our agency in Neltume, we will travel by 4x4 for 1 hour and 45 minutes to the Mocho-Choshuenco National Reserve and spend the night in a mountain refuge. Upon arrival at the refuge, we will tour the facilities and then have free time to enjoy the area. In the evening, we will have a pre-activity safety briefing and equipment distribution.
The ascent activity takes place on day 2. Leaving at 5-6 am.
The ascent is trekking over mixed terrain of trails, volcanic rocks, scree, snow, and glacier traverses, with an elevation gain of 1,200 meters over approximately 6 km, until reaching the highest peak of the Mocho Choshuenco volcano at 2,422 meters above sea level (Mocho Summit).
The return is made through the same sector, returning to the shelter to collect the bags and return to Neltume.
It's important to mention that this activity doesn't guarantee summit access, but rather the experience of climbing a volcano. This will depend on each individual's physical condition and the surrounding environment. Mountain weather conditions can vary significantly throughout the day.

Due to climatic and/or natural conditions.
The activity may be affected by weather conditions. If it is cancelled, the company may notify the passenger 48 hours or within 24 hours. A refund will be issued, or payment may be postponed if available.
But it is important to be aware that adventure tourism activities may even be suspended in
land.
In these cases, let us consider the following:
If an activity must be cancelled during its development due to weather conditions becoming unfavourable during the course of the activity or the safety of the group is at risk, or the schedule is not met, the Guide may decide to let the group return. This will not be considered a cancellation of the activity; since the activity is carried out in the same way, with factors external to the Guide and/or the company being the
that do not allow the activity to be fully developed, without generating a refund. In this same way, the Guide can decide the protection of the client individually, in case the Guide considers that the physical, health conditions or the times are not suitable to complete the activity, the Guide can notify the client of the suspension of their activity, without considering it a cancellation and without generating any refund. This considering that the
Adventure tourism activities are subject to natural and personal conditions of the client, and there are operational costs involved.
By customer conditions
If a customer must cancel their participation in a Choshuenco Experience activity, regardless of the reason, a percentage of the amount paid may be refunded, or none at all, depending on the proximity to the start of the activity.
1. Cancellations made up to 3 days (72 hours) before the activity will result in a 100% refund of the tour cost already paid.
2. Cancellations made up to 2 days (48 hours) before the activity will receive a 50% refund of the total price. If a reservation was made for only 50% of the tour, this amount is non-refundable. No refunds will be issued for prepaid reservations due to operational expenses and the loss of the reservation by the company.
3. Cancellations made less than two days in advance (less than 48 hours) prior to the start of the activity will not be refunded. No refunds will be issued for prepaid reservations due to operational expenses and the loss of the space by the company.
4. NOW SHOW: If the client does not show up within the first minute of the activity, no refund will be made.
Due to company conditions
In the event that Choshuenco Experience, the Guide and/or part of the team in charge of an activity decide to cancel a Tour prior to the start of the activity, either due to not completing the minimum quota, bad weather conditions or force majeure, a new date will be rescheduled on which the required conditions are met. If the participant cannot reschedule
your activity, you will be reimbursed for the cost that has been paid.
