Panguipulli - Seven Lakes

The Panguipulli-Sietelagos destination is made up of a group of Chilean lakes belonging to the Valdivia river basin, located in the Panguipulli commune in the Los Ríos Region. They are: Pellaifa, Calafquén, Pullinque, Pirihueico, Neltume, Riñihue and Panguipulli.

This area is surrounded by four volcanoes: Villarrica, Lanín, both active, and two stratovolcanoes Mocho-Choshuenco and Quetrupillán.

Currently within this territory you can access the Villarrica National Park (South Access ) and the Mocho-Choshuenco National Reserve.

Mocho Choshuenco National Reserve

In winter and spring it is possible to visit the snow and the Mocho Choshuenco National Reserve distant 24 km from this town and which has a high natural value characterized by the presence of Valdivian jungle forests, trails and recently built viewpoints in addition to the millenary glaciers and ice that can be visited even in summer.

It is the starting point to visit its great geothermal activity with more than 13 thermal centers, in addition to several hot water springs. In addition, the Villarrica Sur National Park where it is possible to develop mountain activities such as trekking, ski randonee, snowshoeing, mountain biking, among other activities on the slopes of the Villarrica and Quetrupillán volcanoes. In addition, it has the longest beach in the commune and which concentrates a large tourist flow during the summer period.

Puerto Fuy has a great scenic beauty characterized by its lake edge, views of the Mocho Choshuenco volcanic complex and the presence of snow during the winter period. In summer and on some occasions during the other seasons of the year, it is also possible to visit the Customs Fair of Puerto Fuy which has a wide variety of cuisine, craft beer and local crafts, all of this, very close to the Passenger Terminal.
