Collective percussion experience

Musicaustral offers a collective percussion experience for people with or without prior experience. Participants will learn about different percussion instruments and delve into the world of rhythm, playing traditional Latin American instruments. Through hand signals—following simple instructions—the group will be guided to generate intensity levels, musical articulations, and improvise to compose music. Cajón, congas, bass drum, djembe, and other instruments arranged in a circular arrangement will echo the ancestral origins of these ritual accompaniment spaces in this creative journey.
