Leaving early from your accommodation in Puerto Varas we headed directly to the slopes of the imposing Osorno Volcano with a height of 2,642 meters above sea level. We will arrive at the Ski Center to prepare ourselves and start our walk at 1,200 meters above sea level. towards the viewpoint of the Glacier located on the volcano at 1,800 meters above sea level. approx. with an ascent of at least 3 hours of walking. Upon arrival we can rest and observe the characteristic Seracs of the glacier.

We will begin our descent towards the Red Crater, one of the many lateral craters that the volcano has and the most accessible.

We continue descending until we finish our journey at the starting point to begin our return to Puerto Varas.
