Guided ancestral experience

Doraliza, a Huilliche artisan passionate about her mapu (land), her witrales (looms) and her traditions, is in charge of the tour that will take you on a guided experience through the countryside with her typical clothing and a natural panoramic view of the place and where we can appreciate the punctuated volcano, Osorno and Calbuco. We enter on foot, passing the pastures where we find the sheep, from which we obtain the raw materials. We continue walking to pass the sheep corral where the sheep are handled. We continue walking until we reach the native forest, where we will learn about trees such as the Canelo, Maqui, Ñirre, and others. Here we will share ancestral knowledge, respecting the process and care of the raw materials, from how the vegetables are harvested to begin the wool dyeing process. We continue the tour to reach the workshop where the crafts are developed. This is where the wool is spun and woven in the witral, which gives us moments that allow us to create, connect us with our roots, and allow us to keep the tradition alive.
