From the highest point on Lake Llanquihue to its end, in the commune of Maullín, is where you can see the Maullín River Wetlands Nature Sanctuary, with a journey of 84 km to its mouth at the sea.
Among its breathtaking landscapes, we will kayak through sunken forests, hualves, grasslands, lush vegetation of riparian forests, and abundant wildlife that will accompany us at all times.

Day 1 :
Meeting point: El Cisne Beach area in the commune of Llanquihue at 8:30 AM. This will be followed by an introductory talk and a report on our upcoming activity downstream in the Maullín River watershed at the nature sanctuary.
Day 1's journey is organized to paddle from Lake Llanquihue to our first stop near Km 17 of the river, unloading gear and passengers to move to the Quemas sector. We then resume our journey downriver to the rural sector of El Gato, where we will finally rest from our first day's paddling, finishing at approximately 6:00 PM. Our first night's accommodation includes dinner and breakfast in a local rural house.
Day 2 :
Meeting point, rural sector of El Gato at our neighbors' house to have breakfast and prepare the equipment for the second leg downriver in the Maullín River watershed, a nature sanctuary. Departure to the river at 9:30 AM, from this beautiful place we will paddle for approximately 6 to 7 hours, crossing narrow bodies of water, riparian forest, wetlands, old river connectivity ports in the 60s. Then we will disembark in the rural sector of Puelpun where we will have time to eat, and in this place we will spend our 2nd night, staying in a Glampling on the banks of the river.
Day 3 :
Meeting point at the rural house in Puelpun for breakfast and to prepare our equipment, to paddle the last stretch towards the city of Maullín, specifically the Pangal beach sector. We will leave paddling at approximately 9:30 AM to take advantage of the last day of navigation in the nature sanctuary, our kayaking activity will last approximately 6 to 7 hours, we will travel through the network of wetlands in the sectors of Puelpun, Olmopulli, Cebadal, Peñol and wetlands of the Cariquilda River. Once we see the city of Maullín, we will be close to land at Pangal beach, there we will rest and have a feedback day of the 3 days of kayaking and we will share the closing of the trip with a dinner for all participants.
During the trip, breakfast, lunch, and dinner are included. For kayaking days, lunch is replaced with a snack and hiking rations, allowing you to maximize your time during the activities. The food is primarily local and delicious. If you require special meals, please indicate this when registering for the trip.
