The mansion was built in 1916, entirely with Andean and Mañío alerce, by German settlers who, seeking the prosperity their homeland denied them, arrived in 1852 to this unexplored area of ​​wetlands and volcanoes, at the end of the world. In 2013, the Werner Prenzlau family donated the mansion and its original furnishings to be transformed into the hotel you will soon discover.

Casa Werner is located in the Llanquihue district, specifically in the El Loto Wetland, an important gathering point for migratory birds and rich in wildlife. It is just 400 meters from the best beach on Llanquihue Lake and 7 km north of downtown Puerto Varas.
