With carnival and “cazuelazo”, Puyehue has everything ready to celebrate its VIII Puihua Cultural

Starting this Saturday, lovers of local gastronomy, music, theater and games in the snow cannot miss a party that is already a tradition in the Los Lagos Region: Puyehue begins its VIII Puihua Cultural.

There are no less than 9 days of activities of all kinds and for all ages, which start at 11:00 am with the Winter Carnival from the Plaza de Armas. At 12:00 a.m. it is followed by a “cazuelazo”, which will be accompanied by ballet and folk music at the Casa de la Cultura, and at 2:00 p.m. the first day is expected to end with the carnival awards ceremony.

Every day, until July 24, activities have been scheduled that, as on previous occasions, will attract national and international tourists.

"We have worked hard for this version. After two years, we are once again carrying out the carnival in person. We hope that many people will come. We have very good regional and local artists, an international theater company. It will be very Puihua is interesting. It is an event that is deeply rooted in the commune, which is why we expect tourists to visit to have a pleasant time," Roberto Coronado, in charge of the municipality's Tourism Department, told Ruténica.cl.
