Winter holidays: Lago Ranco awaits you with attractive tourist and cultural attractions in connection with nature.

The "Lake Ranco Basin" destination, Chile's third largest lake, boasts so many attractions that it would take days to explore its natural beauty. In addition to lakeside resorts, its borders include cattle ranches, lush Valdivian rainforest, cliffs and viewpoints overlooking islands, waterfalls, and snow-capped mountains.

There's also a fully paved road that passes through towns and places steeped in history, reminiscent of the region's valuable railway heritage and the passage of the famous poet Pablo Neruda through the area, making the trip an attraction in itself.

With the official start of the winter school holidays just a few weeks away, we at Rutenica have prepared a 3-day, 4-night program so you can visit the area with family, friends, or as a couple.

We suggest a new program we've developed for you to visit this beautiful destination. We offer various accommodation options, dining options, and adventures, all of which can be tailored to your tastes. For example, Day 2 of the program includes a float down the Calcurrupe River, including lunch, and Day 3 includes the Maqueo Experience, a culinary endeavor where you can prepare your own homemade meal based on natural products and local ingredients grown in the countryside.
