The Technology Dissemination Program completed its 6th workshop. This time, entrepreneurs from Los Ríos traveled to the municipality of Futrono, where the workshop included discussions and demonstrations on the design progress of high-value tourism experience proposals developed during the various phases of the PDT.
The program, awarded by Fomento Los Ríos to the Pilares Consulting Firm , featured the participation of more than 30 entrepreneurs, both in person and remotely, who were able to continue analyzing the key elements to consider when designing tourism products that allow them to differentiate themselves from traditional offerings.
Entrepreneur Macarena Millar , head of the organic cosmetics company Caracol Unido , praised the various tools learned throughout the program.
“The workshops have been very educational. Before participating, I had a focus on selling products. But now I've broadened that focus and turned to the possibilities offered by tourism. By making my products in Río Bueno, for example, I can conduct guided tours on-site or create activities for schools to participate in and see how I create my cosmetic products in an area I call Caracolandia,” she said.
The Technology Outreach Program on "Designing High-Value Tourism Experiences" was created by commercial engineers Angélica Sepúlveda and Paulina Valderrama . Through their Pilares Consulting firm, they also launched Ruténica.cl , a website specializing in the digital marketing of the Lakes and Volcanoes Scenic Route's tourism offerings.
With the completion of the sixth workshop, the PDT enters its final stretch. The Demo Day will follow, and on November 28th, the presentation of the results of Experiencias Turísticas Los Ríos 2023 will take place at the Dominga Bistró Restaurant (Club Deportivo Phoenix, Valdivia).
